The Sabah All-State Vocal Festival (SASVF) is a two-day extravaganza celebrating the power of voice! Day 1 features captivating singing competitions across various age groups and genres, while Day 2 offers enriching workshops and the thrilling “Grand Prix” finale where category champions compete for the ultimate title. A dazzling Closing Ceremony with awards and a special performance caps off the event. Throughout the festival, enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and unique crafts at the vibrant booths, making it a truly immersive experience for music lovers.

The inaugural Sabah All-State Vocal Festival in 2024 will feature a distinguished panel of judges, each hand-selected by our Artistic Director. These esteemed individuals bring a wealth of experience and accolades from within the local vocal arts community. Their discerning ears and commitment to fair, transparent judging ensure an equitable and enriching experience for all participants. The caliber of our jury reflects our dedication to upholding the highest artistic standards, fostering trust, and creating a welcoming space for every voice to be heard.
Through collaborative artistic expression, this festival sparks creativity and motivation, and encourages healthy competition for self-growth. This unforgettable experience is not only for participants, singers, and musicians, but also for the audience and visitors who will attend this festival.
The Sabah All-State Vocal Festival is all about celebrating your talent! Everyone who participates receives a Certificate of Participation and helpful feedback from our jury. If you score above 50%, you’ll earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Laureate title – plus a really cool Award Certificate and Trophy!
The highest scorer in each category is crowned “Champion of the Category” and gets a special medal.
Our Artistic Director and the Panel of Jury will also choose one lucky participant to receive the “Special Jury Award” for showing amazing artistry. And the biggest honour of all? The “Grand Prix” winner becomes the “Champion of the Festival” and takes home a Championship Certificate and Trophy!
To encourage a successful participation, participants and their family and friends will collaborate with us to ensure the success of this event.

Yes, you can sing in any language for your second song (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, Thailand, Italian, German, or French, etc.). Just make sure your first song is sung in Bahasa Malaysia by Malaysian Composer(s).
